Yet another happy Mac Churchill Acura on Dealer Rater!

"I purchased my TSX from Mac Churchill, and have used them for all service and maintenance needs. The sales process with Chanon was very easy, as we started talking through e-mail then I came in to the dealership for the test drive and purchase. He didn't try to pressure me into a decision, but rather advised me on the models I was looking at and answered my questions without bias. He was also very prompt with correspondence and follow ups.

The service team at Mac Churchill are very polite, friendly, and easy to work with. They are very responsive and prompt when setting up an appointment, and quick to greet you when you arrive. The service waiting area is also very nice, and makes it easy to stay and wait for the service to be completed." - rwf0011

Throwback Tuesday: 1998 Acura TL Commercial “Like the NSX”

Did you know the first generation TL debuted in 1996 and was the first Acura model to adopt the alphanumeric naming convention? Ironically, the TL should be the last model in the current lineup to shift to the new three-letter naming pattern that will see an “X” added to the end.

Did you also know the first generation TL was often compared to the first generation NSX? Okay so that part is not so true, but this 1998 TV commercial digs really deep to find some similarties between the two vehicles.

See the video below and make sure you stick around for the punchline.

Your Monday Maintenance Tip: Use the 'two-bucket' method when washing your car

When washing your car, use two buckets - one filled with soapy water for washing the car and the other filled with clean water for rinsing out the wash mitt before dipping it back into the soap. By the time you finish washing your car you'll notice the soap bucket should still be relatively clean while the rinse bucket will be very murky. This helps prevent contaminating the wash mitt with dirt and grit every time you reload with soap which could otherwise introduce swirl marks and scratches to your paint. Also, always use either a microfibre or wool wash mit. Never use a sponge or dish soap.

Many thanks to Marilyn for this terrific review on Yelp!

"We have purchased and happily owned 8 Acuras and all of them from Mac Churchill.  We have ALWAYS received excellent customer service at the time of purchase and EVERY visit to the Service department. From the moment I drive in until I leave, I feel like I'm their special good friend getting their "primo super-secret treatment." Waiting in their comfortable waiting room is easy with their beverage service and snacks and did I mention roomy? You won't be shoulder-to-shoulder and have to crawl over every other waiting customer here because it is a large area and they get service done quickly and right and back on the road!! No other dealership is like that!!!   My husband is also satisfied that when I come here alone I won't be told any foolishness that tends to happen to women who bring their cars in alone to a dealership's Service department. That's real peace of mind.
Don't understand the bad reviews also posted here on Yelp. I wonder if the disgruntled customers always post but the majority of satisfied do not. Idk. Seems so. Sometimes older cars just have things that BREAK period.
Bottom line, I'd recommend an Acura to anyone and Mac Churchill be your dealer(yes, we've talked to all the others in the metroplex) but never treated even half as well as here. That's why we keep returning!!" - Marilyn

Another satisfied customer of Mac Churchill Acura!

"I drove to Fort Worth from Austin to buy my car from Mac Churchill and will continue to drive the three hours to Fort Worth to have it serviced. Mac Churchill worked with me, personally, and I felt absolutely confident that I was getting the safest, highest quality vehicle for the money. Every single person at the dealership was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Despite the large number of customers, I never felt rushed or ignored. I was treated as though I was the only customer.

I will never buy a car from another dealer and have already recommended Mac Churchill Acura to my friends.

Like most women, I have had negative experiences with car dealers that have left me feeling disappointed and occasionally even insulted. Having an experience like the one I've had with Mac Churchill, therefore, feels even more positive by contrast. Mac Churchill and his staff are excellent representatives of the Honda/Acura brand." - Beth Re

A huge thanks to the author of this excellent review on Cars.com!

"I bought my 2006 Acura TL at Mac Churchill and have it served there, too. Taylor is always courteous and quick. I have also worked with Christy, Kale, and Prichard and the good service is consistent. I often wait for service to be performed and the waiting area is by far the best. There is a business office enclosed by glass that is very quiet, a children's play area, also enclosed, and a large screen tv with plenty of recent magazines, newspapers and refreshments. Best of all, it smells nice, not like tires like other service centers. I usually get out quickly for minor service, like oil changes and have had no problem reserving a loaner for major tune ups or brake replacements." - Picky TL driver
